Zahara has a number of reporting options for accessing the line-item data and making sense of it.
- Built-in reporting – There are built-in reports that can be run with data exported to Excel.
- Export API for Excel connectivity – We have a reporting API. This means you can access a customer’s data in Excel or PowerBI (The two most accessible tools for the majority of people).
- Zapier
- Microsoft Flow – Another option is to setup a Zap in Zapier or a Flow in Microsoft Flow so that each time a PO is created or an Invoice is created, the data is written to a SQL database of the customers choosing or a table in an Excel spreadsheet in Microsoft 365. We have a number of events that can be used as well including Invoice Exported and Purchase Order Approved.
- Power Query – Power Query is the term Microsoft uses for it’s connectivity tool. It’s surprisingly easy to work with and allows you to:
Connect
Extract
Transform
Load
You can build unique spreadsheets for your clients that can be refreshed daily. With Power BI you can not only visualise Zahara’s key metrics but also merge it to a shared dashboard with other sources of data like Xero and Sage.
The Zahara partner team have access to people who are impressively good with these tools so don’t hesitate to ask for guidance or to discuss a project with us.
